Turkey Sausage, Mushroom & Pepper Pizza
Makes 10 ServingsIngredients
* | 1 package Shady Brook Farms or Honeysuckle White Sweet or Hot Italian Turkey Sausage |
* | 1 pre-made Italian pizza crust, such as Boboli |
* | 1/2 cup pizza sauce |
* | 1/2 pound mushrooms, thinly sliced |
* | 1 green pepper, seeded and sliced into rings |
* | 6 ounces low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded |
* | 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated |
Instructions
1 | Preheat oven to 350F degrees. |
2 | Slice sausage lengthwise and peel off casing. Crumble sausage into a nonstick skillet and cook over medium heat until browned. |
3 | Top pizza crust with pizza sauce, mushroom slices, pepper rings, cooked sausage and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. |
4 | Bake on lowest oven rack about 15 minutes or until crust is crisp. Cut pizza into 10 slices and serve. |
