Chef Carroll Collins is the owner and editor of the online cooking blog, www.helpmecook.com, a resource for sharing recipes, menus, entertaining ideas, cooking trends and techniques.
As a culinary educator and consultant, Carroll has collaborated with several clients to develop and produce self-published cookbooks, including the award-winning ‘Entertaining Newport Style’ for The Preservation Society of Newport County, RI, ‘Under the Mohegan Sun’ for Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort in Uncasville, CT, and ‘Easy Ideas Appetizers’ for Princess House of Taunton, MA.
Carroll has been a culinary instructor at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) and a paid spokesperson for Shady Brook Farms(R) and Honeysuckle White(R) turkey brands. Her professional culinary training is from the Chez Boucher French Cooking School and the Culinary Institute of America. Carroll has been a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). She resides with her husband on Boston’s North Shore.
