Did You Know?

‘Cilantro’ is the Spanish word for coriander, so the terms are often used interchangeably. Its appearance is very similar to Italian flat-leaf parsley, so be sure to use care when purchasing at the market.

While many people love the taste of cilantro, others – like myself – find it has an unpleasant “soapy” taste. Apparently, from what I’ve read, some people are genetically predisposed to react to this particular herb with a bad taste in their mouths – literally!
